About Kim

I write fairy tales for children and adults, and my first series, The Princess Swap, is forthcoming from Penguin Random House starting spring 2025. I have an MFA from the University of Arizona, where I taught creative writing, and I regularly guest lecture on the power of storytelling. I’m obsessed with "Phantom of the Opera," gluten-free croissants, and rainy days. I am the founder of Atelle, a branding and marketing studio, where I partner with companies, agencies, and entrepreneurs to tell their story. Originally from Seattle with stints in DC, Los Angeles, and Australia, I currently live in Tucson with my two cats.
